Batteria Pisani
The art of blending history and contemporary
Painted Steel, Corten Steel

The Vettor Pisani Battery is a military fort built on the beaches of Cavallino-Treporti between 1909 and 1912 to defend the city of Venice. The request is to provide a complete package, starting with the design of outdoor metalworks that seamlessly integrate into a historical-military context, enhancing and completing the restoration project. Additionally, the project involves other categories, such as windows and doors, metal carpentry, and the interior museum setup.
We drew on all our experience and tools to custom-build the iron stairs to access the highest points of the fort, restore the entrance gate, construct the museum entrance platform, and install the flagpoles. Additionally, we supplied the fixtures needed to close the 63 window openings of the Battery. Our contribution was also essential in making the exhibition spaces functional through the installation of specific accessories. This allowed us to serve as a local, self-sufficient partner, playing a key role in the success of this extraordinary restoration.
