The Journey of the Constitution
Made in (and for) Italy
Painted Steel, Glass, Systems and Accessories

The Presidency of the Italian Council of Ministers asked us to create a display case for a traveling exhibition of the Italian Constitution. One of the three original copies of the Constitution needed to be safely transported and displayed in various Italian cities, from Sicily to Valle d’Aosta. The case had to meet several requirements: control temperature and humidity, include geolocation, use shatterproof glass, and be as compact as possible for easy transportation. On top of that, for aesthetic reasons, all the accessories, opening mechanisms, and fastenings had to be hidden from view.
This project was a real challenge, involving fast-paced work, problem-solving, research, and close collaboration between craftsmanship and technology. Our experience in building museum display cases was key, along with our problem-solving skills and flexibility to adapt to new fields. We relied on our usual way of thinking—creating custom solutions for each unique project, combining the creativity of the designer with the craftsmanship of the builder. This project would not have been possible without the help of our best suppliers and the support of other companies who joined us, making this unique and pride-worthy achievement a reality.
