The Glass Chambers

Not Just Iron

Client: OTT ART
Scenery: Giorgio Cini Foundation, San Giorgio Maggiore Island, Venice, Italy
Matter:

Black Calamine Steel

Context

Producing in just 10 working days the necessary supports for displaying glass artworks, to meet the exhibition opening date. This involved transporting 6,000 kg of custom-made products by water, independently, from our workshop to the exhibition center at the Cini Foundation for on-site assembly.

Solution

By collaborating closely with the client, completing the final drawings, promptly sourcing materials, and using our own equipment to handle the heavy loads, we successfully assisted the team setting up this temporary exhibition. Thanks to our 2400 square meters of workspace and lifting equipment like 10-ton overhead cranes, forklifts, magnets, trucks with crane arms, boats, and manual wheeled lifts, the work was carried out safely, smoothly, without interruptions and without strain. With the skills of our operators, we were able to achieve finishes that were perfectly suited to the occasion.
